Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
zen ken ken is a mobile app made by Matthew Caminiti. This page describes what the app does with your information. Short version: not much, because there isn't a server and we don't ask for an account.
What we collect
Nothing directly. The app does not:
- Require you to create an account
- Send your puzzle data to our servers (there are no servers)
- Use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs
- Track you across other apps or websites
What's stored on your device
The app saves a few things locally so it can work offline and remember your preferences:
- In-progress puzzles and your last selected grid size
- Game statistics (completion times, counts by difficulty) if you use that feature
- Settings like whether you've unlocked zen stats
This data lives in your phone's local storage. Deleting the app removes it. We can't access it remotely.
App Store purchases
If you buy the zen stats unlock, Apple processes the payment. We receive a confirmation that the purchase happened, but not your payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to that transaction.
This website
This site is static HTML served over HTTPS. We don't set cookies or run analytics on it. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) may be kept by the hosting provider for a short period as part of normal server operation.
Children
The app doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
